Since 1969, Bruno has worked as a corporate lawyer for Freehills', primarily representing clients in the energy and natural resources, construction and technology industries. Bruno was the managing partner of the Perth office and a member of Freehills' National Board (1979-1987).
He has advised both private industry and government in relation to joint ventures, sale, purchase, and delivery of assets and commodities, financing, construction, foreign and local takeovers, taxation, IPO's (ASX and AIM), capital raisings, due diligence, titles (including native title), corporate governance and technology transfer.
Bruno is on the board of a number of companies and not for profit organisations. He was recently appointed a member in the General Division of the order of Australia (Queens Birthday 2008 Honours).
